With its diverse terrain, stunning scenery, and temperate climate, Portugal offers a wide range of cycling experiences for riders of all skill levels.
The Ride Across Challenges bring to this safe and peaceful country the concept of the great road cycling stage events, giving amateur athletes the opportunity to experience Portugal as a perfect road cycling destination.
EPIC CLIMBS AND SCENIC ROADS
This small but extremely diverse country offers epic rides and varied course profiles ranging between challenging mountainous stages and faster flatter ones.
From the northern Minho region and Douro Valley, with its beautiful vineyards and green hills, to the southern Algarve region, which boasts charming towns and beautiful coastline, passing through the vast open rolling countryside of the Alentejo – not forgetting the rugged coastlines, lush forests and dramatic mountains of the Azores volcanic islands.

Ride Across Portugal’s team is responsible for organising the biggest professional cycling competition in Portugal – Volta a Portugal – as well as some of the most famous amateur cycling events in the country, such as Granfondo Serra da Estrela, L’Etape Portugal by Tour de France and Etapa da Volta.
On top of its great experience this team has a passion for cycling and the immense pleasure of sharing Portugal’s breathtaking landscapes, rich history and culture with all those who are ready to accept the challenge.
